Abstract

Over 60 years of collaborative efforts have fortified the relationship between Morocco and Mexico. Both countries have worked diligently to enhance their bilateral relations. Similarities and points of convergence have facilitated dialogue and fruitful cooperation. Today, economic relations are the backbone of this evolving partnership. The visit to Morocco of the Business Coordinating Council (CCE – Consejo Coordinador Empresarial) in 2023 marked the dawn of a new era in economic relations between Mexico and Morocco.

Delving into the realms of trade, tourism, agribusiness, and construction, this paper identifies synergies and untapped potential for economic revitalization and development. Morocco’s actively promoted tourist destinations, strategic agricultural sectors, and flourishing construction industry present promising avenues for Mexican enterprises. This article is not just a compilation of facts and figures; it is a narrative of shared history as well as a roadmap to achieve the promising future that awaits us if the relationship continues to be developed
